Akriotou Microwinery is a boutique, family-run estate founded by oenologist Vasiliki Akriotou. Operating on a small scale, the winery focuses on expressive, terroir-driven wines that highlight indigenous Greek varieties through low yields and thoughtful, minimal-intervention winemaking.

Akriotou Microwinery was established by Vasiliki Akriotou, whose background in oenology and passion for indigenous Greek grapes shaped the winery’s approach from the outset. The estate developed with an emphasis on small-lot production and the careful selection of vineyard sites that best express their individual character.

From the beginning, the focus has been on quality over volume, using modern knowledge to support traditional principles and allowing each wine to speak clearly of its origin.

The winery works with carefully chosen vineyard parcels that deliver naturally low yields and high concentration. Viticulture is guided by respect for the land, with an emphasis on balance, healthy vines, and harvesting decisions based on flavour and freshness rather than volume.

Terroir expression is central to the winemaking philosophy, with minimal intervention practices used to preserve the natural profile of each variety and site.
